How rerouting works

A reroute is what happens when the session you were given no longer fits the day you actually have. Instead of skipping it and taking the hit, you tell Onda what changed and it writes you a different session on the spot.

Doing it

  1. Open today’s session and tap Reroute.
  2. Pick what changed: less time, low energy, wrong location, missing equipment, soreness, boredom, feeling overwhelmed, lost motivation, travel, or something else.
  3. Confirm the specifics — for example, how many minutes you actually have.
  4. Onda replaces the session immediately. Start it like any other.

What Onda protects when it reroutes

Every prescribed movement carries a priority. The movements that carry the session — usually the main squat, hinge, push, or pull — are the last things to go. Accessory and finisher work comes off first. If you told Onda a region is sore or injured, any movement flagged as unsafe for that region is excluded outright and swapped for a substitute that trains the same pattern.

Two honest details

Changing your plan

Rerouting fixes one day. If something has changed for good, change the plan itself.

Equipment and location

Onda only prescribes movements you can actually perform with what you have. Update Settings → Equipment when your kit changes, and set your usual training locations — gym, home, outdoors, travelling. If you are somewhere unexpected today, do not change your settings: reroute with wrong location or missing equipment instead, so the change applies to today only.

To stop seeing a movement you dislike, open it in a session and choose Do not prescribe this. Onda will substitute an exercise that trains the same pattern.

Important

Reporting an injury concern

Onda is a general fitness app. It is not a medical device and it cannot assess an injury. If you are hurt, stop training and speak to a doctor, physiotherapist, or other qualified clinician. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.

Telling the app

Add the affected area under Settings → Injuries, or reroute today’s session with the soreness reason. Onda will exclude movements flagged as unsafe for that region and substitute alternatives until you remove it. This is a scheduling accommodation, not treatment, and it does not replace clinical advice.

Telling us

If you believe something Onda prescribed contributed to an injury, or if the app offered you a movement that it should have excluded, please report it to support@ondaroute.com with the subject line Injury concern. Include the date, the session, the movement, and what happened. We treat these as our highest-priority reports, we investigate every one, and we will tell you what we find.

Managing your subscription

Onda subscriptions are billed by Apple through the App Store, not by us. That means we cannot cancel, refund, or change a subscription on your behalf — but you can do all three yourself in a couple of taps.

Cancelling or changing your plan

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Onda, then Cancel Subscription, or choose a different tier.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Your data is untouched by cancelling — if you also want it deleted, see below.

Refunds

Refunds are handled entirely by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account used for the purchase.

Restoring a purchase

New phone, or reinstalled the app? Sign in with the same account and tap Settings → Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account that bought the subscription.

Deleting your account and data

You can delete everything yourself, from inside the app, without emailing anyone or waiting for approval.

  1. Open Settings → Account.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm. This cannot be undone.

That removes your profile, body metrics, workout logs, plans, and adherence data. It is gone from our live systems within 30 days and from encrypted backups within 90 days as those backups age out.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Apple controls billing, so cancel it separately using the steps above — otherwise it will keep renewing.

If you cannot get into the app, email privacy@ondaroute.com from the address on your account and we will delete it for you within 30 days.

Getting a copy of your data

Email privacy@ondaroute.com from your account address and ask for an export. You will get a machine-readable file containing your profile, body metrics, workout logs, plans, and adherence data, within 30 days. There is no charge.

Account and sign-in

Offline and syncing

Today’s session, including rerouting it, works without a connection — the rules run on your device. Logging works offline too; sets are stored locally and sync the next time you have signal. If something looks out of date, pull down to refresh on the home screen.
