These are the rules for using Onda. We have kept them short and written them the way we would explain them out loud. Please read section 6 properly — it is about your safety, and it is the one part we would ask you not to skim.

1. The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“Onda”, “we”, “us”) covering the Onda mobile app and the website at ondaroute.com. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Onda.
Our privacy policy explains what we do with your data and forms part of this agreement.
2. Who can use Onda
You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. Onda is built for generally healthy adults. If you are pregnant, recovering from injury or surgery, or managing a medical condition, please get clearance from a clinician before you use it.
3. Your account
- Give us accurate information, and keep your email address current so we can reach you.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Tell us at support@ondaroute.com if you think someone else has access to it.
- One account per person. Do not share, sell, or transfer it.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store, not by us directly.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges for the renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
- Manage or cancel in your device settings under your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the paid period ends. We cannot cancel it for you.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, not by us. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Any free trial ends immediately if you buy a subscription during it. Unused trial time is forfeited.
- We may change prices. Existing subscribers get notice before a change affects them, and can cancel before it takes effect.
The support page has step-by-step instructions. None of this limits statutory rights you have as a consumer where you live.
5. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or try to extract our source code, except where the law expressly permits it.
- Copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute Onda’s plans, programming, or content as your own.
- Interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or use it to attack anyone.
- Use automated means to scrape the service or create accounts in bulk.
- Use Onda to give training or medical advice to other people as if it were professional guidance.
If you find a security vulnerability, we would genuinely like to hear about it — email support@ondaroute.com before disclosing it publicly, and we will work with you.

6. Exercise risk and your health
Exercise carries an inherent risk of injury, and in rare cases serious injury or death. That risk exists no matter how well a session is designed. Onda cannot see you, cannot watch your technique, and cannot know how you slept, what you ate, or what your body is doing today beyond what you tell it.
Consult a physician before you begin. You should get medical clearance from a qualified healthcare professional before starting Onda or any new exercise programme — and especially if you are over 40, have been inactive, are pregnant or recently postpartum, are recovering from an injury or surgery, or have or suspect a heart, lung, joint, metabolic, or other medical condition.
You take part voluntarily and at your own risk. By using Onda you acknowledge that risk and accept responsibility for it. You agree to:
- Train within your ability, and progress gradually rather than chasing numbers.
- Use correct technique, and get qualified coaching if you are unsure of a movement.
- Use equipment safely, including collars, safeties, and a spotter where appropriate.
- Keep your injury, equipment, and availability settings accurate, so the app excludes what it should.
- Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, faintness, shortness of breath, chest pressure, or anything else that is not right — and seek medical attention.
If you think you are having a medical emergency, stop and call your local emergency number. Do not wait to check the app.
7. Not medical advice
Onda is a general fitness and wellbeing app. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Nothing in the app — plans, sessions, reroutes, reasons, or numbers — is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation, and none of it comes from a clinician who has examined you.
Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay getting it, because of something Onda showed you. If a clinician tells you something different from what the app suggests, follow the clinician.
8. Content and licences
Ours. Onda, its software, exercise library, programming logic, design, and brand belong to us. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own training for as long as this agreement lasts. Nothing else is granted.
Yours. Your logs, metrics, and notes remain yours. You grant us only the licence we need to host and process that data in order to run the app for you, as described in the privacy policy. We do not claim ownership of it, and we do not sell it.
We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics — data that cannot reasonably be linked back to you — to improve how Onda plans and reroutes.
9. Changes to the app
Onda will change over time. We may add, alter, or remove features, and we may suspend the service for maintenance. If we discontinue a feature you paid for, or the service as a whole, we will give reasonable notice and, where it is fair to do so, a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of your subscription, arranged through Apple.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by deleting your account in Settings → Account → Delete account. Remember to cancel your subscription separately in the App Store — deleting your account does not stop billing.
We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, or if we are required to by law. Except where a breach is serious or unlawful, we will give you notice and a chance to put it right first. Sections 7, 8, 11, 12, and 14 survive the end of this agreement.
11. Disclaimer
Onda is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that its plans will produce any particular result, or that its recommendations are appropriate for your individual circumstances.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions. Where that is the case, they do not apply to you and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunity, arising out of your use of Onda.
Our total liability to you for any claim relating to Onda is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or fifty US dollars.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Apple
This agreement is between you and us, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for Onda or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. If Onda fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.
14. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of [STATE / COUNTRY], without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts of [VENUE] have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, or of your right to bring proceedings there.
Before starting formal proceedings, please email support@ondaroute.com. Most things can be sorted out in a couple of messages.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect, and you can close your account before then if you disagree. Continuing to use Onda after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. The version and date at the top of this page always tell you which version is current.
